The Cash Store offers buying services for those individuals that do not want to retrieve their items. Selling the items outright can bring you greater returns, since the Cash Store will not have any storage responsibilities or expenses. Often, transactions will be completed in less than fifteen minutes, however the Cash Store is fully prepared to take as long as necessary to make the transaction a successful visit. Our reputation has allowed many, many clients to drop off tens of thousands of dollars worth of personal belongings for us to evaluate as they run other errands.
The Cash Store’s goal is to get you the amount of cash you are seeking. Simply tell us how much you are trying to get for your item. If we can do that, you will walk out with that amount of cash. A recent client requested and received $20,000 for a diamond ring. Another client left with the $700 for which she was asking. Very rarely do clients ever leave the Cash Store without cash. There are no limits to the amount of money the Cash Store can pay you in each transaction, however, we might request more items. Again, the Cash Store’s goal is for you to get the desired cash or certified check or wired funds immediately.

Very rarely are appointments needed, unless there are a great number of items to sell. Proper ID is always required as stated in the Virginia statutes. Additionally, all items must be brought to the store location, unless you have arranged for a home visit, in order to perhaps, examine an entire estate, or grand piano.
The Cash Store realizes that selling valuables can be a very personal transaction, thus we offer private offices to conduct all your affairs. We strictly adhere to all laws and ethical behaviors in assisting all clients. State of the art diamond and gold testing equipment, as well as state certified scales, are provided to insure accurate transactions. Furthermore, the Cash Store belongs to a variety of database services that allow for the most current merchandise values. The Cash Store staff is professionally trained, educated by GIA instructors, and bonded by a state approved insurance agency. Additionally, the Cash Store must be recertified yearly by local and state government agencies to have a precious metal license and the pawnbrokers license. We are one of the very few businesses in the county and city of Fairfax to have these valuable certifications for over 20 straight years!
If for some reason we cannot fulfill your cash request, we will offer suggestions for alternatives for you to pursue. Perhaps the most successful alternative is to place your valuables with us on consignment.
Consignment:
Consignment is the best option to maximize your cash return, if you have the luxury of time. This option seems to work very effectively for an individual who does not need to get cash today. The Cash Store pursues a number of different avenues to sell your item, which would not be viable to the regular consumer. There are several security risks in allowing strangers into your home to examine valuables or meeting them to consummate a transaction. Even the so-called “secured web transactions” are filled with fraudulent practices. Avoid all these headaches by utilizing the Cash Store’s consignment service.
